Study and play jazz and Latin music in a beautiful location

Benicasim is a small, tranquil town on the Mediterranean coast, with citrus trees and pine forest leading down to a lovely beach. After a day of intensive musical study, you can relax with a sauna or one of the many health spa treatments on offer before dinner, then head out to the evening concert and jam session.

Principal aims of the course:

To offer high quality, inspiring tuition for instrumentalists and vocalists from all backgrounds
To provide a creative environment where musicians can share ideas and learn from each other
To develop overall musicianship - with particular emphasis on time, touch, tone and ensemble playing
• To deepen ones understanding of Latin music and Jazz

Mornings:
For all students:
10:00 Pulse training with Stephen Keogh
10:45 Workshop "Rhythm and percussion in Latin music and Samba" with Felix Gibbons.
11:30 Workshop on Latin music and Jazz with Edward Simon.
12:15 - 13:30 Instrumental classes

Afternoons:
Instrumental classes - group and one to one lessons
Ensemble Classes

Nights:
Concert at the municipal auditorium of Benicasim
Jam sessions from 22:30 - 01:00
+ spontaneous concerts at different locations during the seminar

How much does it cost?
All price options include fee for the course, accommodation and allow entry into all workshops, special activities, concerts and jam sessions.

Standard €310
This is the ideal package for students or those coming in a group. Accommodation will be in shared rooms or dormitories in the student hostel in Benicasim 1 minute from the beach. Transport between the hostel and the seminar will be provided.

Comfort €880
Includes 5 days on full board - breakfast, lunch and dinner - in a luxurious four star hotel and health spa, set in large tropical gardens, overlooking the mediteranean and 3 minutes walk from the beach and the seminar. The hotel has 4 swimming pools (2 outdoor and 2 indoor) and many large patios and terraces with bars and cafes overlooking the sea.
Also included in this package is a generous selection of treatments at the health spa inside the hotel including 2 sessions of massage, 2 hidromassage, 2 sea water baths, 4 sessions at the gym, 4 mecanotherapy, 2 Aqua Gym and medical consultation if desired.

Please book as soon as possible as we have a limited number of places and the availability of accommodation is going fast. Please let us know when you have done it by sending a photocopy of the bank slip to the address above and stating clearly which course you have paid for. You may also pay the full amount now using either of the two methods mentioned above.

We can also arrange accommodation for you if you want to arrive early or stay on for a few days after the seminar. Just let us know well in advance.
